- This book, along with How Many Veggies?, Junior's Colors, and Pa Grape's Shapes, were released at the same time as the release of Larry-Boy! and the Fib from Outer Space!. Then this, along with the other three books, were made into The Veggiecational Book at the same time as the release of The End of Silliness?. It was then re-released in the same month as Robin Good and His Not-So-Merry Men.
Remark
- The 2012 re-release has a few differences from the original 1997 release, such as:
- The D part has Junior dressed as a doctor instead of Lovey Asparagus
- The F and G parts say "F is for funny falling French peas and G is for gourds who go fast on their skis."
- The "M" part says "M is for monkey, with a long tail and smells kinda funky."
- Larry as King George replaced Archibald as King Saul in the "K is for kettle and King" part.
- The Q and R parts say "Q is for Qwerty, who tells us God's word. R is for remembering the truth that we've heard."'
Inside References
- The H part says “H is for hairbrush, Oh, where could it be?”. This is a reference to The Hairbrush Song.
- The S part says “S is for shepherd and six silly sheep, That need standing up when they fall in a heap”! is a reference to Dave and the Giant Pickle
Real-World References
- The 2012 re-release states the Monkey smells kinda Funky which is likely a reference to the character Funky Kong from Donkey Kong Country.
