Laura Carrot is one of the main characters from VeggieTales.

Bio

Laura first appeared in Are You My Neighbor? as one of the inhabitants of Jibber-de-Lot, along with her father and brother Lenny. She later became an employee at Mr. Nezzer's chocolate bunny factory, driving her hover truck. After seeing her friends were in trouble, Laura decided to rescue them from Mr. Nezzer's hands.

She has long been the best friend of Junior Asparagus. In spite of the arguments they tend to get into, they'll always be there for each other. The Silly Song "Best Friends Forever" referred to one-off character Papaya Poppyseed as her best friend, though this was likely just for the song.

Appearance

Laura is a baby carrot. In the early years, she has blonde hair of two pig tails with freckles. Later in the original version, she had a blue bow on top with no freckles. In VeggieTales in the House and VeggieTales in the City, her eyes are light teal, she has freckles again, her pink bow and pink dress.

Fun Facts

• Laura is the first female character for the main cast.
• According to Phil Vischer, she is around the same age as Junior.
  • In The Painting, it is revealed she never passed 2nd grade, meaning she is probably held back.
• When Laura made her debut in The Story of Flibber-o-loo from the video Are You My Neighbor?, she never speaks. Starting with Rack, Shack and Benny, however, she finally spoke.
